State Troopers report two accidents Friday that left drivers with minor and moderate injuries.
At around noon in Linn County, 63 year old Harold Goodwin of Brunswick had moderate injuries when he was eastbound on US 36 and ran off the road, struck a guardrail, the ditch and a tree. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment of moderate injuries. He was wearing a safety belt.
At about 4:25 pm in Grundy County, a single vehicle accident on Route J near Galt left the driver, 31 year old Wayli Rosales of Green City with minor injuries. Rosales was northbound when he slid on the ice covered roadway, went off the road and hit a stump. He was taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville. He was wearing a safety belt.
