The official invitation calls it “The Best Fundraiser & Party since Sliced Bread.”  A fundraising dinner and auction will be held this Saturday at the Chillicothe Country Club.  This “Black Tie Optional” event will begin at 5:30 for the social hour that will include Mike Michelson “The Piano Man”, who will also provide dinner entertainment.  The dinner will include prime rib or salmon, topped off with bread pudding – made from the recipe from the Commander’s Palace in New Orleans.

A small live auction will follow the dinner, which will include a week at a condo in Florida, jewelry and more.

The main entertainment for the evening is Lonnie McFadden and his band.  McFadden is a member of the Jazz Hall of fame.

Tickets for the dinner are $125 each, with the funds to support the operation of the newly renovated “Sliced Bread Building” that will open in the spring.  For more information, contact Terry Rumery at 646-1900.
