Chillicothe Police Report Includes Two Arrested For Possession

The Chillicothe Police Department report 85 calls for service on Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

5:35 am, a report of suspicious activity in the 10 block of Tenth Street.  A man and woman were in a vehicle that was parked in the area.  They were found to be in possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and paraphernalia.  They were taken to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending formal charges.

9:35 am, Officer recovered a wallet from a business in the 700 block of South Washington.  They will attempt to return the wallet.

10:15 am, Officers continued an investigation of the theft of money from a wallet that had been mistakenly left at a business in the 1300 block of North Washington St.  Investigation is continuing.

10:15 am, Officers performed a well-being check of a person in the 1200 block of Grandview St.  The person had not reported to work and was found to have died. The Livingston County Coroner was called.

2:50 pm, Officer had an interview an individual as they continue an investigation involving possible child sexual abuse.  The investigation continues.

6:05 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street, on a stealing report which had occurred last week.  Surveillance was viewed and the investigation continues.

7:15 pm, a commercial burglary alarm sounded in the 600 block of South Washington St.  The building and premises were checked and determined OK.  The alarm company was advised.

9:00 pm, A parking complaint was received, for a vehicle at Cherry and Clay Streets.  The vehicle was moved.
