Cutting Carpet In The Street and An Alarm At The Hospital Are In The Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department had several calls for service Monday.

1:52am, Officers responded to an alarm at Hedrick Medical Center.  It was determined some unruly individuals that had vacated the premises before Officers arrival.

5:12am, Reported Semi truck that was eastbound on US 36 from Breckenridge shooting sparks under the rear end.  The truck was stopped by Officer at the south junction and advised of the problem.  Officer followed the vehicle to the truck’s business location.

9:44am, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Calhoun Street to a report of the street being blocked.  It was determined that subjects were using the street surface on which to cut carpet.  Individuals were advised that they couldn’t interfere with the flow of traffic.

10:07am, Officer were called to the 500 block of South Washington for a person that lost his billfold.  The billfold was lost in the parking lot and contained cash and papers.

3:19pm, Report of fraudulent use of a credit device.  A suspect was questioned and taken into custody, processed and transferred to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail pending filing of charges.

9:17pm, Officer attempted to return some property to a resident in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street.  Officers was unable to make contact.
