The Midwest Football Alliance, whose teams include the Chillicothe Swarm, have selected Chillicothe and Jerry Litton Stadium as the host of the upcoming season’s All Star Game.
A representative of the Missouri Valley Pitbulls suggested Chillicothe for the game. The stadium’s “first rate facilities” and central location were listed as benefits for selecting Chillicothe to host the 2019 game on August 31st.
Team representatives agreed that their teams were well received by the Chillicothe community and complimented the town’s eating establishments.
The vote for Chillicothe as the host city was unanimous.
The Chillicothe Swarm, in their third season, will open the 2019 schedule at home on May 4th against the Quad City Nighthawks.
