Chillicothe Plans $1.8 Million In Street Projects In 2019

The City of Chillicothe will spend about $1.8 million dollars on street project in the coming fiscal year.  The City Council Monday approved an engineering contract for a couple of those projects.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says this is over and above the repairs to the potholes around the community.

Chappell says the work on Walnut Street is near Simpson Park, but is only a small section of the street.

They hope to begin the work this summer.
