Brookfield Police Arrest Two On Warrants

An attempt to serve an arrest warrant resulted in two arrests for the Brookfield Police Department.  March 14th, Officers attempted to serve the Linn County warrant for 26 year old Brock Wine on charges of alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and three counts of Unlawful Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wine was expected to be at a home in the 100 block of East Clayton, and after several attempts to get someone to come to the door, they applied for a search warrant for the home.

When they entered the home, 22 year old Mickenzie Adler of Brookfield stated several times that Wine was not at the home.  K-9 Nitro was sent in and located Wine in a crawl space under the house.

Wine was arrested and was since taken to the to the Macon County Jail.

Adler was also arrested and has been charged with alleged Hindering Prosecution, Resisting/Interfering with an arrest and Assault.  Her bond is set at $15,000.
