Two Local Superintendents Honored By Missouri Association of School Administrators

Two area School Superintendents were recently honored at the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA).  Both were honored at the Spring Conference held March 27th.

Chillicothe R-II Superintendent, Dr Roger Barnes was nominated for the prestigious Robert L. Pearce Award.  The Robert L. Pearce Award program is a long-standing tradition of the association honoring excellence in education and community leadership among Missouri superintendents.

Megan Hardie, Superintendent at Chula School was nominated for recognition by MASA for Outstanding Performance as a New Superintendent.

At the conference, Dr Barnes was also honored by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) in recognition of his service to education and participation in his professional organization. Barnes was presented Honorary Life Membership in the association.   Barnes is retiring from the Chillicothe R-II School District at the end of the school year.
