Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department report for the weekend includes several investigations, an accident, and a few arrests.

Saturday:

1:50 AM, Officers responded to an accident at Washington Street and Third Street.  An eastbound vehicle pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle causing a collision.  A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to Hedrick Medical for treatment of injuries.

7:35 AM, Officer took a report of property damage in the 600 block of Sunset.  Investigation continues.

9:50 AM, Careless and Imprudent driving was reported in the area of Broadway and Webster Street.  Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:55 AM, theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Street.  Investigation continues.

4:20 PM, a domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Polk.  A man was taken into custody for domestic assault and was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

11:15 PM, Officers received a report of a juvenile riding in the back of a truck in the 2600 block of North Washington Street.  Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Sunday:

10:05 AM, Theft was reported in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  The victim reported losing a wallet in the parking lot of the business.  Video surveillance caught the incident and the suspect was arrested, cited, and released.

12:05 PM, Officers arrested a person in the 200 block of Graves Street on 2 Livingston County warrants, one for a probation violation and the other for forgery.  That person was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

8:55 PM, A verbal disturbance occurring in a motor vehicle in the area of Woodrow and Rosewood resulted in one of the parties cited for failing to register a motor vehicle and no insurance.

10:25 PM, Officers responded to a disturbance at a hotel in the 1000 block of South Washington Street.  As a result of the investigation, officers arrested 2 people for the peace disturbance and trespassing.  They were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
