Bids for fuel and sidewalk concrete were approved as part of Monday’s Chillicothe city council meeting. The Fuel Bid was awarded to MFA and allows for a discount off the pump price for fueling the vehicles for the Police, Fire, Streets, Parks and other city-owned vehicles.
City Administrator Darin Chappell says the concrete bid was awarded to Penny Concrete at a rate of $103.40 per cubic yard. Chappell says this concrete bid is for repairing sidewalks in the community.
