7:51 pm, Call of kids acting suspicious and yelling profanities in the 900 block of Woodward Street.  The person called back to advise the kids had left the area before Officers arrived.

Officers handled several calls from concerned citizens about open burning. We recommend that people wanting to burn yard waste call the fire department to check whether there is a burn ban in effect before igniting your fire, especially if there are high winds. The weather is getting nice and there will be lots of residents cleaning their yards and burning the debris. Be sure and have rakes and extinguishing items available and don’t leave your fires unattended!
