A loaf of sliced bread is now atop the Home Of Sliced Bread Center. The new three-dimensional symbol, which arrived by truck, was placed on the Sliced Bread Historic Visitor’s Center Thursday afternoon. Ed Douglas, from the Sliced Bread Committee, says it is an iconic symbol for them.
Douglas says the center is expected to open in June.
He says they will also have a meeting space that the Livingston County commission will utilize when they host the Northwest County Commission Meeting in June.
The Sliced Bread Historic Visitor’s Center is located on 1st street, three blocks east of Washington Street.
