Troopers Report One Local Accident And Several Arrests

State Troopers report one accident and several arrests in the area counties over the Easter Weekend.

Saturday at about 5:00 am in Dekalb County, a Cameron man had minor injuries in a single vehicle accident.  Thirty-four-year-old Nathan R Hess was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital for treatment following the accident on US 36, 4 miles west of Cameron.  According to the report, Hess was westbound and ran off the east side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the road, hit an embankment and his car overturned, coming to rest on its top.  He was wearing a safety belt.

 

Arrests for the weekend include:

Sunday:
Troopers in Grundy County arrested 41-year-old James Ewing of Trenton at about 4:50 am for alleged DWI and failure to register a vehicle.  He was processed and released.

Saturday:
Troopers in Caldwell County arrested Cameron S Barger of Hamilton at about 11:50 am for alleged DWI and failing to dim headlights.  He was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Troopers in Grundy county arrested 19-year-old Megan Guffy of Trenton on a Clinton County warrant for alleged no seatbelt.  She was held at the Grundy County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Troopers in Linn County made two arrests.  At about 3:15 pm, 28-year-old Cody Fletcher Gay of Quincy, Ill was arrested for alleged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was processed and released.  At about 1:50 pm, 33-year-old Odgra Bobo of Pontiac, MI was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.  He was also processed and released.
