Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report includes several traffic stops with citations and warnings issued and a couple of arrests.

Monday:
At about 5:00 am, officers assisted a motorist at US 65 and Business 36.

At about 1:45 pm, officers responded to theft in the 1000 block of Graves.  A juvenile was taken into custody and turned over to a parent.  A report was sent to the Juvenile Division.

At about 7:15 pm, officers responded to a report of illegal burning in the 300 block of Mansur.  The resident was informed about the city burning ordinance.

A driver was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and several warnings were issued for speeding and expired registration.

At about 8:30 pm, officers arrested Valerie Ross at the police department.  The arrest was on a Linn County warrant.  She posted bond and was released.

Tuesday,
At 7:25 am, officers took a report of a missing person in the 1600 block of Maple.  The person was located a short time later.

At about 10:00 am, officers investigated a report of stolen mail in the 1700 block of Morningside Drive.

At about 1:30 pm, harassment was investigated in the 500 block of Mitchell Road.

At 11:00 pm, there was a noise complaint in the 100 block of 11th Street.  The resident was advised of the complaint.

Officers made several traffic stops and issued several warnings for speeding, lane violations, and defective equipment.
