Flooding Continues On Portions Of The Grand River

Flood warnings continue for the Grand River at Sumner and Brunswick.

The Grand River at Chillicothe fell back below flood stage of 24 feet overnight, after a crest of 24.99 feet.

At Sumner, the river crested at 31.45 feet and is beginning to slowly fall.  The current forecast shows moderate flooding will continue until Saturday morning and the river will fall back below flood stage of 26 feet Saturday afternoon.

At Brunswick, flood stage is 19 feet and the river is above flood stage and should crest at 25.1 feet tonight, with minor flooding continuing until Monday afternoon.
