Trenton City Council To Consider Eight Ordinances

The Trenton City Council has eight ordinances on their agenda when they meet Monday.  The meeting is at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers.  Ordinances include:

For a Use Tax on out of state purchases

A contract with R/S Electric Utility Services for Technical Support

An ordinance for sirens and flashing lights for emergency use

An engineering agreement with Burns & McDonald for water and wastewater projects.

An ordinance for the construction of a fire training center

A zoning change at 1712 Harris Avenue

Repealing portions of the Public Health, Welfare and Safety Code for cats and dogs and offenses concerning prostitution.

New business includes:

Discussion of vendor day pass – NCMDA & Main Street Trenton

Discussion/approval of fire training facility site development bid

Discussion/approval of electric rates-utility committee

Discussion/approval of rate study-utility committee

Council training by the City Attorney
