Upgrades to the surface of Litton road, from Danner Park to the Golf Course could happen this year. Chillicothe City Administrator Darin Chappell says the work has been needed for years.
Chappell says the city will go out for bids on the work to fix the problems.
He says before the overlay work can begin, the city will need to flatten the road surface to remove the potholes and washboard conditions.
Chappell says the cost of the project is estimated near $100,000.
They hope to be able to get the project bid and complete this year.
