A few Chillicothe athletes are in Odessa today for Sectional track and field. A top four finish in their event will earn them a trip to the State Track Meet next weekend.
Competing for Chillicothe today, thanks to a top four finish at districts, are as follows.
Lady Hornet qualifiers are Kylee Larson in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Kennedy Corzette in the pole vault, Abby Jones in discus, Montana Hall in shot put, the 4×800 relay team of Emma Burk, Katelyn Sullivan, Kadence Shippers and Delaney May and the 4×100 relay team of Kylee Larson, Delaney May, Abby Jones and Jordan Hibner
For the Hornet Boys, competing will be Rudy Yutsey in pole vault, Damarcus Kelow in discus, Luke Hopper in Discus, Kaleb Mullikin in 400, William Perry in 1600, Isaak Rasche I 400 and Lavery Jones in 300 hurdles. Also competing is the 4×200 relay team of Deon Reynolds, Kaleb Mullikin, Peyton Forck and Isaak Rasche and the 4×400 relay tea of Ethan Corbin, Kaleb Mullikan, Peyton Forck and Isaak Rasche.
