The Chillicothe City Council will meet this evening starting with a finance workshop at 5:30 and the regular session at 6:30.
There are no specific items on the workshop agenda.
At 6: 30, the regular session will begin with finances. That will include a bid for the purchase of a Vacuum Excavator for the CMU Electric Department.
Under Appearance, there will be a request by Ben White from Main Street Chillicothe to name the area of Locust Street from Clay to Ann Street, the “Kelly Poling Arts District.”
City Attorney Robert Cowherd will present an ordinance to establish a “Local Bid Preference.”
Cowherd will also present an ordinance on the regulations for medical marijuana cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensaries.
An executive session is planned to follow the regular meeting.
