Major and Moderate Flooding Continues On The Grand River

Major and Moderate flooding continues on the Grand River.

At Chillicothe, the river seems to have crested and is falling.  The crest was at 37.5 feet and the river at 4:00 am Major flooding continues and the river level had dropped to 37.1 feet.  Flooding is still expected to continue into Monday morning.

At Pattonsburg, The river appears to be leveling off at about 36.1 feet.  Major flooding continues and the flooding is expected to last until Saturday morning.

At Gallatin, Moderate flooding continues and the river is expected to crest at 37.8 feet.  The reading at 4:00 am was 37.1 feet.  Flooding will continue until Sunday morning.

At Sumner, the river continues to rise and major flooding is occurring. A crest of 42 feet is expected Friday morning.  The reading this morning was 41.23 feet.  Flooding will continue well into next week.

At Brunswick, moderate flooding continues, with a reading Wednesday evening at 31.75 feet.  A crest of 33.3 feet is expected Saturday, with flooding expected to continue well into next week.

On the Thompson River at Trenton, the river crested Wednesday at 34.38 feet and moderate flooding is occurring this morning.  The reading this morning was 31.59 feet and flooding will continue until Friday when the river falls back below the 27 foot flood stage.
