Grand River At Chillicothe Should Be Below Flood Stage

The Grand River at Chillicothe should be below flood stage this morning, but flooding continues for Sumner and Brunswick.

At Chillicothe, the latest reading was at 6:30 pm Monday at 26.7 feet.  The river should have fallen back below flood stage overnight, but no current reading is available.

At Sumner, at 5:00 am, the river was at 36.18 feet and should fall back below flood stage of 26 feet Thursday morning.

At Brunswick, the reading Monday evening was 31.5 feet and the river is expected to stay near that level through the day and begins dropping off Wednesday, with flooding continuing until Friday afternoon.
