The Chillicothe R-II School District office suffered considerable damage due to the flooding that surrounded the entire building. Superintendent Dr. Roger Barnes says despite the sandbagging of the building, they had about a foot of water that got into the building. They are working with their insurance carrier. Dr. Barnes says the cost to fix the damages is quite high, but the district will only pay the deductible of $1,000.
