Highway Patrol makes Weekend Arrests

The Missouri State Highway Patrol had a busy weekend in the KCHI listening area with multiple arrests
Troopers arrested 18 year old Tayvien Helm of Chillicothe in Caldwell County on a Buchanan County misdemeanor warrant for resisting an officer and exceeding the posted speed limit, going 95 in a 65 MPH zone. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
Troopers arrested 25 year old Damian Phillips of Lawson in Daviess County for driving while intoxicated. He was taken to Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail for a 12 hour hold.
Troopers arrested 28 year old Trevor Powers of Kearney in Livingston County for driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with out a valid license, speeding going 48 in a 25 zone, no seat belt and failure to display valid plates. He was taken to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and released.
Troopers arrested 36 year old Cassie Leeper of Kansas City in Livingston County on a Clinton County Warrant for failure to appear, possession of Methamphetamine and narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail.
