DWI Saturation July 3 & 5

The Missouri State Highway Patrol will be patrolling two KCHI area counties a little heavier than normal this week.
Troop H of the Highway Patrol will conduct two DWI saturation in Grundy and Livingston Counties on Wednesday the 3rd and Friday the 5th.
SGT Jake Angle with the Troop H headquarters in St Joseph explains the reason for the saturation.

Angle explained this will mean extra troopers keeping an eye on the roads in the two counties. It is not a stationary check point.
Angle says the Patrol wants you to be safe over the July 4th holiday and that means the key is advanced preparation.

The patrol will also run an Operation C.A.R.E., or Crash Awareness and Reduction Effort during the holiday period.
