Police Still Answering Fireworks Calls

The July 4th Holiday is long past, but that isn’t stopping some people. The Chillicothe Police are still answering firework calls a full week after Independence Day.
Police answered a fireworks complaint in the 400 block of Elm Street. The subject was made aware of the city ordinance violation by the Police.
In other police calls, officers took a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Hickory Drive. One party involved was taken into custody, transported to the police department, processed for Domestic Assault 4th Degree, cited and released.
Police responded to a complaint from a subject in the 600 block of Walnut Street of someone walking by cursing at and threatening to Assault them. The subject was gone upon officer’s arrival. A description of the suspect was obtained, but could not be located.
Officers responded to a two vehicle, non-injury motor vehicle crash at Ryan Lane and Washington. Both operators claim to have had the green traffic signal. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
