Chillicothe Police Report For A Busy Monday

An accident and several investigations are in the Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday.

1:17 am, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Clay Street for a possible armed robbery and assault.  The investigation continues.

3:09 am, Officer checked the well-being of a person walking westbound on US 36.  That person was headed to Utica and was given a courtesy ride.

11:21 am, Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  Vehicle was found to have what was believed a stolen plate.  The officers determined that the plate was correct, and only one of the plates had been stolen.

5:11 pm, Officers responded to a report of a dog left in a vehicle in the 1200 block of North Washington Street.  The owner was contacted and warned of the violation.

8:13 pm, Report of kids jumping off the roof of a house in the 700 block of Chicago.  Officers located the kids and talked with them.

9:29 pm, Officers responded to US-36 and Route CC for a two-vehicle crash.  An eastbound vehicle collided with a vehicle that was entering onto westbound Highway 36 from Lowe’s Acres.  No injuries were reported.

10:58 pm, Officer assisted in removing a bat from a residence in the 2500 block of Tomahawk Road.
