Courthouse Renovation Nearly Complete
The $1 Million Dollar Restoration and renovation project at the Livingston County Courthouse is nearly complete. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says there are just a couple of windows left to replace.
Douglas says they should finish sealing the windows this week.
Douglas says because of the way the project was contracted they are on budget.
The financing requires payments of about $93,000 a year over a 10 year period. Douglas says this work should have the courthouse in good shape for the next generation.
