An accident with a propane truck and a car left the truck driver with moderate injuries.  The accident occurred at about 11:50 am on US 36 near Meadville, in Linn County, when the car driven by an Illinois woman was eastbound and passing the propane truck.  The truck changed lanes and the car went off the left side of the road and into the median.  The truck ran off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.  The truck driver, 60-year-old David Good of Chillicothe had moderate injuries and was treated at Hedrick Medical Center.  Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

In Carroll County at about 6:15 pm, a single-vehicle accident on Route D left the driver with moderate injuries.  Fifty-five-year-old Robert McDowell of Carrollton was northbound on Route D, at Route E, when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a culvert.  His vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top.  He was flown to Liberty Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  He was not wearing a seatbelt.
