Carrollton Town Council Suspends Liquor License of Convenience Store
The Carrollton Town Council voted to suspend the liquor license of a convenience store during their meeting this week. The Police Chief presented a review of the license, including issues with selling liquor to minors. The business owners presented information to show he has been working on compliance. The council members chose to suspend the license for further review at their next meeting.
The Police Chief also made a request to make the downtown square an entertainment district. City Administrative Assistant Terry Bell says the council chose a different direction.
She says the North Side is where those events are taking place.
