Chillicothe Police had their hands full last night with a drunk person. Police answered a call of an intoxicated person at a business in the 200 block of North Washington, trying to get into cars.
The subject was observed on foot in the 300 block of Washington and Third street where he tried to evade officers and was caught.
The suspect had been observed tampering with a vehicle in the 200 block of Ryan Street and jumped into the passenger seat of a passing vehicle.
The subject took off as a Police officer was arriving. He was caught in a parking lot at Washington and Ann Streets.
He was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a legal detention.
Earlier in the evening police assisted Emergency Services on a medical call in the 200 block of Bridge street. A male was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment where he became threatening and violent to officers and staff.
He was restrained but a female acquaintance interfered and was also taken into custody.
They were both jailed on charges of making a terrorist threat and assault on a law enforcement officer.
