Hornets JV, C-Team football pick up wins

The Chillicothe Junior Varsity Football team jumped to an early lead and beat Marshall 42-8 at home Monday night.
In the first quarter Chillicothe scored with a Gage Leamer 21 yard run with a 2 point conversion by Damarcus Kelow, a Dan Hoel 12 yard run with a 2 point conversion from Brock Ward, and a 2 yard run by Ben Pithan.
In the second quarter Donald McCracken scored on a 35 yard run plus the two point conversion. Cameron Fleener blocked a punt and returned it 20 yard for a touchdown for a 36-0 halftime score.
Seth Hansen caused a fumble with Kamryn Rinehardt recovering it, however the Hornets did not score off the recovery.
In the Third quarter Chillicothe’s Caden Thomas scored on an 8 yard run.
Marshall scored in the 4th quarter on a 60 yard drive.
