The Chillicothe Lady Hornets cross country team finished in 2nd place out of 19 complete teams in the Chillicothe Invitational. Moberly won with 56 points with Chillicothe in 2nd with 60 points.
Clarissa Nivens finished 6th, Aliyah Briner was 14th, Emma Burk 16th, Juliann Gabrielson 17thy, Callaway Chapman 40th and Kathryn George in 47th. Kadence Shipers suffered an injury in the race and did not finish.
The Boys team finished in 13th place and was led by Hayden Simmer in 20th place, Stephen Parkes 69th, Brady Bernskoetter in 84th, Gavin Funk 93rd, Clayton Savage 96th, Logan Gregory 97th and Nathan Toole in 108th place.
Kirksville won the boys title with 40 points.
JV Girls Cross Country results: Girls JV Kaylynn Cranmer was 11th,  Mayanna Weed 16th  Kiera Bosley was 19th.
Middle School Results :Girls Race Yoo Jung Lee 2nd, Makinna Arr 4th, Zoey Warren 6th, Karissa Fostek 8th.
Boys race: Carter Shipers 3rd, Tyler Stephens 4th, Joshua Adams 5th, Cain Evans 7th, Cutter Parkes 11th, Landyn Peterson 12th, Alton Keller 13th.
