Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reported several investigations and a few recent arrests.

September 8th, property damage was reported where a pickup had driven into a yard and caused ruts.  A Bosworth man was cited for property damage and driving while suspended.

September 9th, a sex offender registration violation investigation began when a registered sex offender was observed driving a vehicle he has not disclosed using.

September 10th, an investigation of Fraud began, where someone out of state used Pay Pal to purchase $1400 item in January 2019 and in August 2019 claimed they did not authorize the transaction. The report states the item was personally delivered and the investigation continues.

September 12th, deputies learned that a stolen chainsaw from 2018 was located in Grundy County.

September 12th, deputies completed an investigation of alleged sexual assault first reported in late August. A report was sent to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

Most Wanted Updates:

August 30th,  Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office 63-year-old Harold Ray Burnett Sr. on Livingston County warrant for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Bond is set at $10,000 bond.

August 30th, Polk County, Iowa authorities arrested 30-year-old Jonathan Hoskins on Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation.  He was held without bond.

September 10th, St. Joseph Police arrested 35-year-old Andrea Beck-Broussard on Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance.

September 12th Grundy County authorities arrested 23-year-old Tristan M. Greer on Livingston County warrant for alleged Robbery.

Other Arrests this week include:

Wednesday, 46-year-old Travis D. Moritz of Chillicothe on 2 Livingston County arrest warrants for alleged Stealing less than $150, Resisting/Interfering with Arrest and a Peace Disturbance  He was processed and released.

Thursday, following an investigation in the 1000 block of Fair Street, officers arrested 35-year-old Steven Eugene Doss on a Missouri Parole warrant.  Doss was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail and will be transferred to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
