Chillicothe Police Report Includes A Couple Arrests

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 107 calls for service Monday and reported a couple of arrests,

8:15 am, Officers responded to a report of an assault that reportedly took place in the 1500 block of Calhoun St.

11:36 am, Officers arrested Jonathan Gentile on a Livingston County probation/parole warrant. Gentile was taken to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

12:18 pm, Officers checked a report of littering in the 400 block of Wise St.

12:44 pm, Officers took a report of stealing that occurred in the 1600 block of Maple St. The incident remains under investigation.

1:52 pm, Officers arrested Jason Close on a Livingston County probation/parole warrant. Close was held at the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

2:33 pm, Stealing from a business was reported in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers arrested McKenzie Riddle for alleged stealing. Riddle was processed and released.

3:16 pm, Officers took a report of the theft and forgery of checks. The incident remains under investigation.

5:18 pm, An assault was reported to have taken place in the 1000 block of Clay Street. The incident remains under investigation.

5:38 pm, Officers responded to a report of property damage in the 100 block of Herriman and the suspect had fled the scene. A Livingston County Deputy located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect failed to yield to the Deputy for a short distance and resisted arrest and reportedly assaulted the deputy and one other officer.

8:31 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of E. Bridge St.
