Theft Investigations In The Chillicothe Police Report

Chillicothe Police Officers responded to 117 calls for service Thursday.

4:20 am, Officer performed a well-being check in the 2600 block of N. Fair Street.  OK.

7:39 am, Officer performed stationary traffic monitoring in the area of Hwy 36 and 65.

8:28 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services with a medical call in the 300 block of W. Business 36 Highway.

9:13 am, Officer out at Edgewood and Bryan Street.  Someone had mowed a yard and blown grass into street.  The residents was advised of ordinance violation.

9:15 am, Officers served a Probation/Parole warrant in the 1300 block of Calhoun Street.  The person was processed and transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

10:53 am, the School Resource Officer began investigation of an assault in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street.

3:07 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Walnut St, for report of a leaving the scene of an accident. The investigation is on-going.

4:08 pm, a wallet was found on Third Street and turned it in to the PD.

4:12 pm, an officer was out in the 1500 block of Burnam Road with Animal Control on a report of animal neglect.  The owner was spoken with about the issue.

7:42 pm, Officers were out in the 300 block of East Bridge street to investigate a reported theft.

8:12 pm, Officers were out in the 1400 block of Webster Street continuing an investigation of theft.

8:24 pm, Officers took a report of stealing in the 100 block of E. Jackson St.  A suspect was identified and charges are pending.
