The Chillicothe Fire Department and the City of Chillicothe will celebrate the career of their retired Fire Chief, Darrell Wright Thursday afternoon. A reception will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church – Family Life Center from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, with a ceremony at 2:00 pm that will include several presentations, including a proclamation of Darrell Wright Day by Mayor Teresa Kelly.
Chief Wright retired September 16th, after 35 years of service as a firefighter. The reception is open to the public.
