The Chillicothe Hornets Football team resumes Midland Empire Conference competition on Friday when they host the Class 4 Lafayette Fighting Irish.
Chillicothe is 4-1 and coming off a close win over St Pius. Lafayette is 3-2 with losses at KC Center and at home against Savannah.
Hornets Coach Tim Rulo says Lafayette is very athletic.
Lafayette is fresh off a 63-0 home win on Saturday over St Louis Carnahan. Coach Rulo says Lafayette’s athleticism is their strength.
