An auto theft investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the arrest of a Chillicothe woman.  Sheriff Steve Cox reported his department began the investigation September 22nd in the 1200 block of LIV 243, where a woman allegedly attempted to take a vehicle and was stopped by the resident.  The woman then went to another home and attempted to steal a different vehicle.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of 40 year old Sandra Lea Bogle of Chillicothe on 2 counts of alleged Attempted Tampering with Motor Vehicle.   Cox says Bogle was reportedly uncooperative and belligerent during the arrest and incarceration process.

He says prior to this incident, Bogle was out on bond for alleged probation violation on Livingston County Charge of Possession of Controlled Substance.
