Trenton scored on their home field early with one run in the first, two in the second and three in the fifth innings.
Chillicothe cut the lead in half with three runs in the sixth inning but Trenton answered with two in the bottom of the sixth for the final 8-3 score.
Abby Jones and Halle Rucker pitched for Chillicothe, combining to give up eight runs, five earned, off six hits with six walks and two strike outs.
