A single-vehicle accident near Trenton Thursday afternoon took the life of the driver and left a passenger with moderate injuries. State Troopers report 69-year-old Lindell Willey of Trenton died at the scene of the accident on Missouri 146, 5 miles west of Trenton. The report states, at about 3:35 pm, Willey was northbound and ran off the westside of the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree. The passenger, 58-year-old Pamela Holsted of Trenton, was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton and later flown to St. Luke’s in Kansas City.
