Phone Call Turns To Driver Arrested

A St. Joseph woman was arrested Saturday following a call about a vehicle heading into Livingston County on US 36 which was being driven erratically.  The car had two women and child passengers.  The caller reported the driver was not allowing the passengers out of the vehicle.

Sheriff Cox and Deputy Williams located and stopped the car between Utica and the Grand River.  They arrested 46-year-old Jill Brown of St. Joseph on a Macon County warrant for alleged Probation Violation on Driving While Revoked/Suspended and alleged DWI.  Bond was set at $20,000.

During the investigation, the deputy recovered suspected methamphetamine and schedule II prescription medication. The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted with completing the investigation of suspected felony DWI under drugs with a child in the vehicle.

Brown was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending extradition to Macon County.
