Chillicothe Police – Weekend Report

Chillicothe Police had 137 calls for service over the weekend.  The report includes several well-being checks.

Sunday

8:31 am, Officers assisted a resident to unlock a door and assisted her into her home in the 900 block of Fairway.

11:15 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft in the 1400 block of Maple St.

5:28 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of an attempted break-in to a building in the 500 block of Webster St.

8:56 pm, Officers spoke to a resident in reference to property damage in the 1700 block of Boyd St.

10:10 pm. Officers checked businesses in the downtown area and found one door that was unsecured.

Saturday

3:55 am, Suspicious activity at a business in the 800 block of Business Hwy. 36.

9:51 am, Officer assisted the Children’s Division on an investigation in the 600 block of St. Louis Street.

10:20 am, Officers were out at Third and Washington due to malfunctioning traffic signals.

2:24 pm, Report of a large amount of smoke in the 300 block of Polk Street. Officers found someone that was burning leaves and monitoring the fire.

2:32 pm, Officers were at a business in the 500 block of W. Business 36. Investigating a forged check.

4:57 pm, Officer at the Police Department took a report of possible sexual misconduct. investigation continuing.

An automotive code scanner was located in the area of Calhoun and Locust Streets and brought to the Police Department.  The owner may identify the equipment and claim the item.
