Hornets FB Wins Semi-Finals

Chillicothe Quarterback Jaden Winder threw for one touchdown and rushed for three more in a 44-14 Hornets Football home win over Benton.
The victory puts them in the district Championship game next Friday at Savannah.
Isaac Rasche scored the first points with a 70 yard first quarter run. Winder found Colten Sewell later in the first on a 31 yard touchdown pass.
Benton scored late in the first to make it a 12-7 Hornets lead.
Winder plunged in from one yard out in the second quarter but a 40 yard Benton pass play again made it a five point Hornets lead.
Late in the first half, Winder rambled 53 yards for a 25-14 halftime score.
In the second half, Dawson Wheeler ran for a 15 yard run, Rasche punched it in from three and Winder scored from 7 midway through the fourth quarter for a 44-14 win.
Unofficially Chillicothe had 51 carries for 355 yards and went 4 of 12 for 20 yard passing.
