Both Chillicothe Varsity Basketball teams are in action tonight at the Savannah Tournament.
The Chillicothe Lady Hornets face Smithville at 4:00pm. Chillicothe opened their season last week with a win over Hamilton. This will be first game for Smithville this season. The Lady Warriors graduated three seniors off of last year’s team.
The Hornets opens the tournament against the host team Savannah. Chillicothe returns several players with starting experience including the two leading scorers, Westley Brandsgaard and C J Paff. Savannah graduated two senior starters from last year’s team that beat Chillicothe in overtime in the only meeting of the season between the two teams.
