If you had a real Christmas Tree and are trying to figure out what to do with it once it is taken down, the Missouri Department of Conservation has a way to put those trees to good use. Cliff Wilson from the Fisheries Department of the MDC says landowners with ponds can use their real Christmas tree in their own pond and gather the trees from the neighbors if they will not use the. He says to remember to clear them of all types of decorations.
