MoDOT Roadwork For New Year’s Week

The Missouri Department of Transportation may have to deal with some wintery weather and there is another mid-week holiday, but MoDOT has a few projects still underway and others they will start as weather permits.  In the local counties, that work includes:

Caldwell County

Route P – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Old Highway 13 to Kendal Road, Monday and Tuesday

Route A – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from NE Hi Point Drive to Wishbone Drive, Thursday and Friday

Chariton County

US 24 – Bridge replacement project at the Mussel Fork River and Overflow Bridges west of Keytesville through early 2020. Traffic is diverted over a one-lane, signalized bypass during the replacement of the Mussel Fork River Overflow Bridge. A 10-foot width restriction is in place.

US 24 – Bridge replacement project at the Middle Fork Chariton River and Overflow bridges through February 2020.  Traffic is directed through the work zone with temporary traffic signals. A 10-foot width restriction is in place.

Daviess County

Route B – CLOSED for bridge reconstruction at the Interstate 35 overpass.

Route V – CLOSED for a culvert replacement at Quarry Road, Monday.

Linn County

US 36 – Shoulder work from Route 5 to Route F, Monday and Tuesday

US 36 – Pothole patching from the Macon County line to Route 139, Monday and Tuesday

There may also be moving operations throughout the region such as pothole patching, striping, and signal work
