Hornets Head to Cameron Title Game

The Lawson Cardinals scored the first points of the basketball game but it was all Chillicothe after that in a 65-32 Hornets win in the Cameron Tournament.

For the second straight game, Chillicothe had four players in double figures. Westley Brandsgaard led the team with 23 points, C J Pfaff with 14, Hayden Simmer and Griff Bonderer both with 11 points, Bradley Riley with 6 and playing time for Mason Baxter, Cayden Potter, Joseph Tullos and Wyatt Brandsgaard.
Chillicothe will play Maryville for the championship Saturday afternoon. Maryville beat Smithville 74-67 to advance to the title game.
