The Missouri Highway Patrol reports three injury Accidents and two arrests in the area counties over the weekend.

 

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports three injury accidents involving residents of the area counties.

Saturday, in Linn County, an accident on US 36 at Route TT west of Brookfield left three people injured, including a 7-year-old child.  According to the report, at about 11:50 am 39-year-old Amanda Walton of Purdin was eastbound, while 27-year-old Karry Wood of Brookfield was southbound.  The report states Wood attempted to cross the highway and pulled into the path of the Walton vehicle.  Wood was not wearing a safety belt and had minor injuries.  She sought her own treatment.  Walton and a 7-year-old passenger had minor injuries and were taken to Pershing Hospital in Brookfield for treatment.  They were wearing safety belts.

Sunday at about 1:30 pm in Livingston County, a two-vehicle accident on Highway 190, a mile west of Chillicothe, left one driver with minor injuries.  The report states 70-year-old David Kent was westbound and was attempting to pass a vehicle, driven by 58-year-old Debbie Danner, who had slowed and signaling to make a left turn.  As Danner started to make her turn, she was struck on the driver’s door.  She was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

At about 9:30 pm in Daviess County, 58-year-old Randy Adair of Gallatin had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident.  Adair was northbound on Missouri Highway 13, just south of Gallatin and drove off the east side of the road, overcorrected and ran off the west side of the road and his vehicle overturned.  He was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  He was also arrested for alleged DWI, Careless and imprudent driving and no insurance.  He was released for treatment.

State Troopers report one other arrest in the area counties over the weekend.

Saturday at about 9:00 pm in Linn County, troopers arrested 37-year-old Deidre Eastin of Marceline for alleged DWI with drugs.  She was processed at the Brookfield Police Department and released.
