Public Safety Awards totaling more than $700,000, including funding for various types of equipment for law enforcement agencies across the state, have been approved by Governor Parsons.
- Chillicothe received $3,925 for 20 medical trauma kits and four lightbars.
- Livingston County received just under $10,000 for a new vehicle
- Carroll County received $5,650 for radios and repeaters.
- Trenton received $7,713 for 4 siren boxes, 2 lightbars and 34 flashlights
The funds received are through a federal Local Law Enforcement Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance
