A new firefighter for the Chillicothe Fire Department was hired this week by the Chillicothe City Council. In the executive session of Monday’s meeting, the council approved Mathew Chaney as a full time EMT/Firefighter (paramedic trainee). Chaney will start with Chillicothe on February 25th.
